Shipping

Where do you ship?

We happily ship to all 50 states in the US and Puerto Rico. States located outside the continental US, such as Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, are subject to an additional $150 shipping fee.

We do not offer shipping to PO Boxes.

What is the cost of shipping?

We do our best to keep shipping clear and thoughtful, so there are no surprises at checkout. Here’s what to expect:

  • Trunks: flat shipping rate of $25
  • Accessories: $5–$10, depending on size and weight
  • Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico require an additional $150 shipping fee due to carrier costs

Complimentary shipping on orders with a cart subtotal of $350 or more

When can I expect my order to arrive?

We aim to get your order to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. 

Most in-stock items ship within two weeks. Occasionally, shipments can be delayed due to weather, peak shopping seasons, or carrier issues, and we appreciate your patience in these rare cases.

If a product is available for pre-order, you’ll see a badge next to the price on the product page.

What shipping carriers do you use?

We use UPS and FedEx to ensure your order arrives safely and reliably.

Can I make changes to my order after checkout?

To make sure we get your personalized item to you on time, we begin processing orders shortly after they’re placed. Because of this, we can only accommodate changes within one hour of your order.

If you need to make a change, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@petitekeep.com and include your order number. We’ll do our best to help!

Do you offer expedited shipping?

We offer Expedited Production for $175, which includes priority production and shipping within 1 week (for readily available items).

Orders

What is a pre-order?

Pre-order items are products that you can purchase before they arrive in stock, allowing you to reserve yours for immediate shipment once available.

All pre-order items will have:

  • A badge next to the price on the product details page
  • A pre-order call-to-action button under Personalize

Please note that pre-order items are not eligible for expedited shipping.

How can I check the status of my order?

You will receive a shipment notification when your order ships. If you'd like an update before then, please reach out to us at hello@petitekeep.com!

Can I return my product?

Please be sure to carefully review all order details before confirming your purchase as we are only able to make changes 1 hour after you place your order.

Due to the handmade nature of the products that we offer, Petite Keep does not accept returns and all sales are final. Gift certificates cannot be returned for store credit or refund. Warehouse Sale items are also ineligible to be returned for exchange, store credit or refunds.

Can I use multiple promo codes on my order?

Petite Keep allows one promo code per order.

What happens if my order arrives incorrect?

Oh no! We do everything we can to ensure your order arrives exactly as placed, but because our items are handmade, mistakes can happen.

If your order is delivered damaged or with incorrect personalization, please reach out to us within 3 business days of delivery so we can make it right. We want every customer to be in love with their purchase and are happy to help with any questions.

Do you offer any special discounts?

How do I use my loyalty points?

Thanks for being a loyal customer! To check your loyalty points, navigate to the Rewards page and login with your email. Click 'Redeem Points' - you may use your unique code at checkout.

Product

What is your Handmade Policy?

Each Petite Keep Trunk is handmade for you based on your order selection, and therefore cannot be canceled or returned. Please review your order carefully before submitting. We take the utmost care with each order and strive for each customer to be thrilled with their new, cherished trunk.

We aim for consistency in all our products, but due to the handmade nature of each Trunk, you will occasionally find subtle differences that are in line with hand assembled products. From time to time, we make slight adjustments in fabric, font size and lettering as well as see slight variations in fabric color in order to enhance the aesthetics of our products. Fabric print placement varies and we cannot guarantee that embroidery will not be on top of a print.

What are your Trunks made from?

Our Trunks are crafted with care using:

  • Exterior: Robust steel with a matte finish
  • Hardware: Elegant gold accents gold-finished metal hardware
  • Interior: Fully lined with a soft, padded fabric for protection and a luxurious feel

How should I store my Trunk?

To keep your trunk in the best condition, store it in a clean, temperate space such as a bedroom or linen closet. 

Avoid basements, attics, or other areas where heat and humidity fluctuate or where water exposure is more likely.

Proper storage helps your trunk stay beautiful and protects its materials and hardware for years to come.

What is the embroidery size on each trunk?

Our embroidery size varies by style selected.

Monogram height:
Grand Classic Trunk: 4.5 inches
Petite Classic Trunk: 3.5 inches
Mini Classic Trunk: 3 inches

Name height (up to 20 letters):
Grand Classic Trunk: 3.5 inches
* if 2 lines, second lines will be smaller.
Petite Classic Trunk: 3.5 inches
Mini Classic Trunk: 2.5 inches


Exclusions may apply based on length of name. Two lines available on Grand Classic Trunks only. As always, we are here to help with any questions you may have!

What size are your Trunks?

We have three sizes - our Grand, Petite, & Mini. For dimensions and guidance as to what fits, please visit our Size Guide.

Are the Trunks fireproof?

While Petite Keep Trunks are not fireproof and aren’t designed to withstand fire, they are crafted to be durable, long-lasting, heirloom-quality storage solutions.

Wholesale

What is the minimum order requirement for wholesale purchases?

Our opening order minimum is $2,000, and reorders are available starting at $500.

How do I become an authorized Petite Keep wholesale partner?

To become an authorized Petite Keep wholesale partner, please complete the wholesale inquiry form here.

Once submitted, our team will review your application and request any required documentation, including your resale or tax exemption certificate.

After approval, you’ll receive access to wholesale pricing and ordering information.

What are you payment terms, and turnaround times?

Due to the natural of our products, we ask for 100% up front. One we receive payment, your order will be put into production.

Our turnaround time can vary due to peak season but, typically it is 2-3 weeks upon payment date.

We offer select customization and branding options for corporate gifting, including logo placement & personalized details.

Availability may vary by product and order size. Our team will work closely with you to create a gift that reflects your brand and vision.

Minimum order quantities and production timelines vary depending on the scope of your project and level of customization.

Most corporate gifting orders require advance notice to ensure quality and timely delivery.
